A short note about how the development of the Generator Statistical Digest 2019 pressed further forward on our ambition to be able to roll these types of ‘Metrics’ into ‘Trends Engine’, and hence NEMreview v7, on an ongoing basis.
The development of the Generator Report Card 2018 was a big step forward aligned with our ambition to be able to roll these types of ‘Metrics’ into NEMreview v7, on an ongoing basis (i.e. via the underlying ‘Trends Engine’).
On Monday 29th October 2018 over on our WattClarity® site, we announced that we were developing a “Generator Report Card 2018” with data till 31st December 2018 for release early in 2019. This is a separate product from NEMreview, purchasable separately. However the development of this report does dove-tail into what we need to do,…
It’s early days, but we thought it worth noting that we’ve started adding in some data for the South-West Interconnected System (SWIS) in Western Australia, as highlighted in this image of the data selection interface: For clarity, we should note that this data augments what was already there for Western Australia, which is: Annual LGC…
As shown in this example created for Tuesday’s article “Initial questions about the LGC market” over on WattClarity, we’re pleased to have been able to work with Green Energy Trading and include a time-series data set of LGC spot prices into NEMreview v7, with data back to the start of 2010 at this point. If…
The LGC registration data published by the Clean Energy Regulator (CER) is now available in NEMreview v7, with data back to 2001. Large-scale renewable energy projects are entitled to create an LGC for each one MWh of renewable electricity generated above the power station baseline. The number of certificates created annually by each generator is…
We have been developing the underlying ez2trendTM technology since the latter half of in 2016. This technology will form the backbone of time-series displays in a range of our products, moving forwards – including NEMreviewTM v7. As a result of recent developments, we are now able to provide clients with direct access to the branded…
As noted in this example a month ago, we initially incorporated weather data for a more limited number of BOM measurement points into the earlier betas of NEMreview v7. This was perhaps acceptable for clients when their interest was related to how temperatures were affecting regional demand levels (because the measurement points we’d chosen were…
The AEMO’S rooftop solar generation forecasting system, the Australian Solar Energy Forecasting System 2 (ASEFS2), commenced publishing data in the 2016 mid-year MMS data release. The system provides forecast and estimated actual output of rooftop solar PV cells per region. The estimated actual rooftop solar generation, from the 27th May 2016, is now available in NEM-Review….
